Hanning Homes is a luxury care home designed to offer residents a comfortable, homely environment alongside exceptional care. Storey Interiors was involved from the outset, contributing to the design of 52 bedrooms and communal spaces across both residential and specialist dementia settings, with a focus on the needs of people in later life.

From welcoming communal lounges to private bedrooms, the interiors balance considered detailing and carefully selected materials with the practical requirements of a care environment. Colour, texture and spatial planning were all important in creating spaces that feel warm and familiar, while supporting residents to navigate their surroundings with greater ease and independence. The result is a thoughtful approach to later living, where accessibility and functionality are integrated into the design without compromising on aesthetics.
